Balkan Venous Forum and Romanian Society of Phlebology are honoured to invite you to attend the 16th Balkan Venous Forum Congress and 19th Romanian Congress of Phlebology.
The event will take place on October 8–10, 2026, in the city beautiful of Timișoara, which is an important medical, academic, and cultural hub in western Romania, and will feature world-renowned phlebologists as guests.
With a long-standing academic tradition and a modern healthcare infrastructure, Timișoara is recognized as a center of excellence in medical education and research, with strong international partnerships and academic prestige. “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy has been training generations of physicians who are appreciated worldwide, continuously contributing to the advancement of medical scientific developement. At the same time, phlebology is a reference discipline for the local medical community, inherited from its founder, professor Acad. Pius Brînzeu.
